Increased competitiveness and profitability of SPORTIS S.A.

SPORTIS S.A. implements the project "Increase of competitiveness and profitability of SPORTIS S.A. thanks to the implementation of product and process innovations, including environmentally friendly technologies.”

The project is co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 under the "Environmentally friendly technologies" scheme of the "Enterprise Development and Innovation" program.

Co-financing value: PLN 2,024,150.00
The aim of the project is to increase the profitability of SPORTIS S.A. by increasing production while reducing its costs, using environmentally friendly technologies that will reduce the amount of waste generated and CO2 emissions.

The goal will be achieved through the implementation of the following activities:
- designing together with the Norwegian partner - NORDKAPP BOATS A/S - two innovative models of RIB type tourist boats, subjecting the boat to the required tests and certification, and starting serial production for the Norwegian market,
The above goal was achieved - works completed in the first quarter of 2022.

-implementation of a serial production of boats, which is innovative on a national scale, thanks to the construction of a new production hall and a change in the organization of the production process,
The above goal was achieved - works completed in the forth quarter of 2023.

- installation of a double-girder electric overhead crane in the new hall, which will enable independent testing of the boat's lifting capacity and assembly of heavy elements in large boats,
The above goal was achieved - works completed in the forth quarter of 2023.

- installing photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the halls, thanks to which the consumption of energy from the network will decrease, which will contribute to further reduction of CO2 emissions.
The above goal was achieved - works completed in the first quarter of 2022.

Through the Norway Grants and the EEA Grants, Norway contributes to reducing social and economic disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with beneficiary countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics. Norway cooperates closely with the EU through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). Together with the other donors, Norway has provided €3.3 billion through consecutive grant schemes between 1994 and 2014.

Norway Grants are financed solely by Norway and are available in the countries that joined the EU after 2003. For the period 2014-2021, the Norway Grants amount to €1.25 billion. The priorities for this period are:
